Experienced Leadership for Duvall’s Next Chapter

Our town is at a crossroads. New home growth is and continues to be coming and commercial growth is quickly approaching — but it doesn’t have to come at the cost of what makes Duvall special. I’m Loren Kosloske, a product leader, planning commissioner, and neighbor who believes we can move forward while staying grounded in our small-town spirit.

Loren Kosloske, Duvall City Council candidate focused on community-driven solutions

I’m running for City Council to bring thoughtful, future-ready leadership to the issues that matter most:

  1. Protecting What We Love About Duvall - From the charm of Main Street to the quiet safety of our neighborhoods, I’ll fight to preserve the small-town feel that makes Duvall feel like home—through smart planning, historic preservation, and community-first decisions.

  2. Investing in Safer Streets, Better Trails, and Parks That Bring People Together - I’ll prioritize walkability, well-maintained trails, and inclusive recreation spaces so every resident—young or old, lifelong or new—can safely connect, explore, and enjoy the outdoors year-round.

  3. Planning for Smart, Inclusive Growth—Without Overwhelming Our Infrastructure - Growth is inevitable, but it should serve us—not strain us. That means thoughtful development that fits Duvall’s character, protects green space, supports housing options, and doesn’t outpace our roads, schools, or services.

  4. Keeping Duvall Fiscally Strong, Safe, and Connected - With over $40 million in city reserves, we have the opportunity to invest wisely. I’ll advocate for strategic budgeting that supports public safety, prepares for emergencies, and delivers long-term value for taxpayers.

With your support, we can grow with intention—not just expansion. We can preserve what makes this place home while building a future that works for all of us.
